Libya C Containerized Incinerator Systems for Remote Desert Camps

HICLOVER has successfully manufactured and supplied two sets of containerized waste incinerator systems for Libya, supporting reliable on-site waste disposal in remote desert operating areas.

These gas-fired incinerators are engineered for the efficient treatment of domestic solid waste generated by oilfield camps, serving Concession 096 (Jakhira) and Concession 097 (Nakhla) in Libya’s desert region. Designed for harsh environments and off-grid logistics, the systems enable safer and cleaner waste management where conventional collection and landfill routes are impractical.

Integrated 6-Meter Container Design for Fast Deployment

Both systems are built into 6-meter container modules, featuring:

  • Side-opening doors for maintenance access and equipment handling

  • A dedicated rear personnel access door for safe operation

  • Integrated electrical systems and built-in safety components installed inside the container

This “all-in-one” containerized configuration allows the incinerator to be transported as a complete unit, while the container itself also functions as an on-site equipment room, protecting the system from dust, wind, and environmental exposure.

Once delivered to site, installation is straightforward: operators only need to unpack the equipment, install the chimney, and connect utilities―including power supply and gas fuel source (or optional diesel supply). The unit can then be placed into operation quickly, significantly reducing commissioning time and on-site labor requirements.

Wide Capacity Range and PLC Automatic Control

The containerized incinerator lineup covers a processing capacity from 50 kg/h up to 500 kg/h, meeting the waste disposal demands of both small and large-scale camp operations.

Each unit is equipped with:

  • PLC automatic control system for full process automation

  • Reinforced internal fire grate structure to improve combustion stability and handling efficiency

  • Centralized operation through the PLC control cabinet, enabling automated workflow, safer operation, and reduced manual intervention

This automation-driven design is ideal for remote sites where manpower is limited and consistent operational performance is critical.

On-Site Commissioning and Operator Training

To ensure long-term safe operation, the systems are supported with installation & commissioning guidance, as well as comprehensive training for operators, including:

  • Safe operation procedures

  • Routine inspection and daily maintenance

  • Basic troubleshooting and preventive practices

Growing Demand from Oil & Gas Operators

As part of modern environmental compliance and sustainable waste management strategies, HICLOVER containerized incinerators are increasingly adopted by major oil and gas companies, especially for remote desert camps and concession sites. Their mobility, integrated design, and fast commissioning make them an effective solution for improving on-site hygiene, reducing waste accumulation, and supporting environmentally responsible operations.
